Jack captures the fossilized light of the edge-on galaxy in
Andromeda, NGC 891. Calculated to be about 20
million light years away, this striking image reveals
numerous galaxies in the background. Tri-color image
using the Pictor 1616XT with the 16" LX200 at f/6.3.
Exposure data; 5 minutes in red, 20 minutes in green, and
40 minutes in blue.
