The Meade Series 4000 1.25" 2x Short-Focus Barlow Lens is a compact, "shorty" style power-boosting lens. It doubles the magnification of any 1.25" eyepiece, which means that it essentially doubles the number of focal lengths available to you with your existing eyepiece collection!

The 2x Short-Focus Barlow Lens features a 26mm lens aperture and fully multi-coated optics for bright, clear images. Its 1.25" barrel is conveniently threaded for use of filters. This Barlow's overall length is just 2.9", so it keeps the eyepiece closer to the focuser than full-length Barlows do, ensuring less drawtube play and scope imbalance.
